From Here to Here, Now

It’s 4:25pm. The kettle is letting me know that the water is hot. Through my kitchen window I see the trees, all exposed, it’s letting go season. The sky is completely orange, the sun is setting. Peace is in the air.

Chamomile or lavender tea? I notice my hand reaching for both. I witness pure generosity and abundance right in front of my eyes. The orange sky is welcomed with a touch of pink and dark blue. I smell fresh chamomile and a strong note of lavender. Really?! Thank you.

Silence is filled with Simrit’s voice coming from the living room, the fireplace on is God in disguise; crackling healing sounds, divine smell and unconditional warm love.

I go to my bedroom, the view of the sunset is breathtaking. The sun shining through the bare trees give a sweet picture that looks like Divine Masters walking into the light, right Here, right Now. I close my eyes and I AM the LIGHT. Delighted.

I open my eyes and there’s a family of deer eating my winter plants and grass. Three beings, ever so gentle and graceful. Attentive and steady. I stand here, there, looking through my bedroom window. Ever so grateful. Love with it’s thousand forms. A home, a sunset, hot tea, a fireplace, deer, trees, earth, everything, nothing, darkness and Light.

I hear Simrit singing ‘No eyes to see, Nowhere to go, No words to speak’ as I approach the living room. I am intoxicated by the Mystery and the Simplicity of it all. I sit in front of the fireplace, I take a sip of my warm tea and she continues, *Guru, Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru - *From the personal to the infinite and back again.
