Divine Silence

After a few minutes chopping onions, I carry the trash out, take a generous deep breath then I fix my Thai hat and go for a walk. There’s a cool soft breeze dancing around me and through the trees. Up high, a few leaves let go and fall down, they look like the whirling Sufis. I try it for a few seconds; blue, green, motion, branches, well being, eternity and I am dizzy. The leaves keep doing their thing to whoever walks by. I share this act of pure generosity with a monarch butterfly who’s dancing her way around the trees, once in a while she kisses the ground. That’s me kissing the earth. On the ground, a tiny tree frog basks in the deliciousness of this perfect moment. He is also watching the performance. I kneel before him. I am at the feet of the Master. I pick him up and put him in my palm. I hear his divine Silence. I AM complete. I put him back on the ground and off he goes, from here to here. I continue on the pathless path and notice my healthy blackberry tree standing a few yards in front of me. This benevolent creation is covered with delicious berries. I share the gift of pure abundance with a couple of birds, bees and ants. In a state of ecstasy, gratitude , purple fingers and dark purple lips, I hug my tree. I hear her divine Silence...tears happen and off I go, from Here to Here. Complete.
